My artworks start out as photographic images and from there I work on these images to create the pieces that I sell. The photographic artworks that I sell take on many forms from literal renditions of various landscapes to the highly abstract and almost everything in between.

Can photography be art? Some people say that photography can't be art because it's so easy, or because it's so common! They say that painting is real art because it takes skill but do you know that children paint every day in primary school but their paintings are never considered art. The truth is that painting is just as common as photography and the difference that makes a famous oil painting an artwork but not a kids painting is the same difference that makes a created photograph an artwork but not a snapshot.

What is art? There are many definitions for art but I like to think that art is something that is created, something that is often emotional and which elicits and emotional response from the viewer. To me art is highly subjective and art is what is put in by artist. You cannot have art without artistic input.
